North Belfast murder: Man, 34, charged after body found

A 34-year-old man has been charged with murder after the body of a man was discovered in a house in Oakley Street in north Belfast.

The body was found shortly before 23:00 BST on Saturday and police said they were treating it as a murder after the results of a post-mortem examination.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service, the PSNI said.
