Two men deny murder of grandfather David Jones in Holyhead attack

Two men have denied murdering a grandfather in an attack on Anglesey.

David Jones, who was 58, died at the Royal Stoke Hospital last November.

Gareth Wyn Jones, 47, of Lon Deg, and Stuart Parkin, 38, of Nimrod Walk, in Holyhead, were remanded in custody by Judge Rhys Rowlands.

The pair appeared by a video link at Mold Crown Court in Flintshire, and a trial date was set for July in Caernarfon.

Mr Jones and a women, Jane Mitchell, 44, from Anglesey, were also accused of conspiring to supply heroin between June and November.

Mr Jones denied the charge, while Ms Mitchell admitted it, and was also remanded in custody.
